Pronto Pita Pizzas
SUBMITTED BY:

"In Crossett, Arkansas, Debbi Smith calls on pita bread as a terrific crust for her quick-to-fix individual pizzas. With the healthy ground turkey breast mixture on top, they can also be cut in quarters and served as appetizers."

This recipe was excellent! The only change I made was to add another 8 oz can of tomato sauce because one can was simply not enough. Other than that, this recipe is spot on perfect.

This was pretty good. I only used one can of tomato sauce and I thought that it was enough. I sauteed the garlic and onion with the meat and not after, like it says. I'm sure that I will make this again. *UPDATE* I made this again, and this time, I sauteed a shallot with some red peppers then added the ground turkey. When I added the tomato sauce (only one can unless you want a spagetti sauce consistency) I also added chopped cilantro. I brushed the warm pita bread with oil and garlic powder mixture. I thought that it was excellent.
