We loved these! So easy to make. After about 1/2 hour of cooling they seemed too sticky so I put them in the fridge. They were perfect. Love the salty and sweet taste.

Great easy 3 ingredient recipe. I used Dove chocolates with caramels and square pretzels. The first few batches I pressed the pecan half a bit too hard and caused some of the caramel to ooze out. The key is to very GENTLY press the pecan half into the chocolate. Also, I lightly toasted the pecan halves before putting these together and it adds another subtle flavor.

Super easy to make and tastes amazing. I made these as gifts for the family and took them to a Christmas party and the recipients nearly finished them before they even got home. I toasted the pecans and then put them on the chocolates before sticking them in the oven. After I took them out of the oven, I then pressed the pecans to squish the candy down a bit.

Made these a few days ago using Dove candies. Instead of using whole pecans, I sprinkled coarsly chopped pecans on the tops before baking and carefully pressed in afterwards. It's a personal preference thing; I think it looks nicer. The taste is awsome!

Easy to make and tastes really good. My 12-year old son and I made this as a Christmas giveaway. I baked using Dove and Rolos. While the Dove tasted better and smoother, Rolos is cheaper so if you are making a lot, use Rolos instead. I put a few of the turtle pretzels in nice small plastic bags with ribbons with Christmas label stickers to make it look nice as a Christmas gifts.

I love these! I think 3 min. at 350º is best. Toasting the pecans is a must & to top these off I lightly sprinkle a nice coarse salt over while they're still warm & gooey... Delicious!

Quick, easy, and GREAT! I followed some of the other suggestions. Put the pecan on first so it toasted a little and drizzled with white chocolate. I stored them in the refrigerator after baking so they hardened a little bit. Overall great recipe especially if your in a jam and need something quick. Thanks!

These are awesome! I too use the round waffle pretzels (Rold Gold) with Rolos and they turn out perfect! They look so neat and elegant. Don't forget to toast the pecans beforehand!

I use the Non Stick aluminum foil and remove it immediately after pressing the nuts down and put it into the refrigerator until they cool - no oozing of the carmel that way. Also - buy the ROLLS of Rolo's instead of the individual wrapped candies to save a bundle of time!

I can never make enough of these. My only suggestion is to lower the heat of your oven to 250, and then the four minutes is perfect timing. Also, if you live in a humid place like Florida, the pretzel will go stale very quickly so you need to get them packed up immediately. These are sooo yummy that it's a crime!

I made these today. I used Dove Chocolate with carmel centers thinking that Dove is a little better chocolate than Rolo, as others suggested. Also, I cut back on the time in the oven - 2 minutes. Worked great. Do not push down too hard on the pecans or carmel comes out the sides of the chocolates. It is so cold here in Colorado that I put the tray outside to see if the carmel would harden enough to put the turtles in gift boxes with other treats we made today. So just a warning, push down on the pecans very lightly if at all.

You can't ask for a better recipe than this one! I used the square pretzel snaps, rolo's, and didn't bother to even toast the almonds -- too much of a hurry. They were GREAT! I bought 2 bags of Rolo's, one bag of pretzels, and a large bag of pecans. Still have pecans and pretzels so will buy 3 bags of Rolo's next time just to have around when unexpected company comes. This will be a year round favorite!
