These were so easy to make and everyone loved them. I topped with pecans that were preroasted and salted in the bag. I used chocolate covered caramel squares sold at our local Farm & Fleet (their brand) and I used the Great Value chocolate covered caramel cups from Walmart. Both turned out wonderful.

This was so easy and fast. They disappeared from the plate. I had 4 people out of the ten who came ask for the recipe.

These are delish!! I took some others advise by using the Dove chocolate carmels and only left them in the oven for about 3 minutes and a few second. I also toaseted the pecans. I think the Dove candies were too big for this, when I gently presed the pecan down, and I mean gently, the caramel oozed out of the candy. Make sure you use parchament paper, I think it works much better than wax paper. I'll try these again with Rolos. But they are still great.

Easy and amazing! My daughter is learning to cook and loved this recipe b/c it was easy and elegant. We drizzeled ours with white chocolate. Perfect! You'll need to make more than 20 though! These disappear quickly!

These are so delicious and a wonderful combination of salty and sweet! For the chocolate, I used Rolo's and it turned out great.

We love to make these, got the recipe a couple of years ago from a friend, I changed it a bit, and used two m&ms for the top to accommodate my husbands dislike of nuts. I have also used nilla wafers as the base and those are really good too!

Make sure you use Rollos or some kind of chocolate covered caramel that doesn't have too much caramel. I'd had these before with the Rollos and they were addictive. With the Reisings the caramel just dominated everything and they were kind of disappointing.

You must make this! It is so easy and so impressive. I drizzled them with white chocolate that I colored red and green for Christmas and brought them to a party. I heard friends commenting it was the best thing there! I used the square snap pretzels and of course toasting your pecans is a must. Everyone always wants to know how did you get the caramel in the middle?? So fun!!

These went faster then I could make them. I used the square pretzels with Rolos (Cut in Half, carmel side down - plenty of chocolate) and used chopped pecan (all I had). For the kids I pressed a mini marshmallow on top. You could really do a lot of variations with this!

Very good! I used square pretzels, caramel Dove candies and instead of pecans I stuck a peanut butter m&m on top. They are so cute.

My gravy! How cute are THESE?! My daughter had a friend coming over without much notice so I whipped these up as a treat and they just raved. So very, very easy and they look impressive. I did toast my pecans first.

These went very fast at the bake sale I brought them too- I would have made more but had run out of the chocolate candies. Per advice of other reviewers, I used Dove candies with the caramel inside and waffle pretzels. I also put the pecans on before I put them in the oven so that they would roast properly. Will definitely use again!

These were a bit tedious to make and mine didn't turn out as pretty as the picture, but after my guests and I devoured them I have to give them 5 stars. I used waffle pretzels and rolos, and topped with crushed peanuts instead of pecans.
