I only gave it two stars--for creativity. Couldn't even trick my young nephew into eating these.

I felt compelled to make this, despite the bad reviews, just because it is so unusual. While it wasn't all that good, I wouldn't go so far as to say this was dreadful. It is very bland, obviously. I think the worst part of the dish is that the pretzels get a very odd texture after being heated up. I didn't cook the eggs with the pretzels, I added the pretzels after the eggs had set and just let them warm through for a minute or so. I also added a dash of pepper and used Brummel & Brown's spread instead of butter. While this isn't good enough to make again, it wasn't bad enough to throw out... so 3 stars for creativity and edibility. I can see how kids might like this. :)

Sorry...the kids hated this, and so did I.
