My family loves this, but our version is the Paula Deen one. For the topping, we make the jello with the 2 cups of boiling water. It sits aside to cool slightly. To that we add 1 small can of crushed pineapple (don't drain b/c you want the juice). You also add 2 (10 oz) packages of frozen strawberries, thawed. Stir it together and pour on top of the filling and chill. It doesn't get any better!!

This was okay. The pretzel crust got pretty soggy very quickly.

Loved it! No one ever guesses the crust is made of pretzels. Just one note: not ready in 30 mins. Jello needs to set as pretzels cool. More like 4 hrs or make the day before.

The taste was good, but the jello part seeped all the way down to the bottom, and in between the pretzel and cream cheese layers. I may try this again one day, but for now I'm throwing in the towel on this one! HAHA!

I had this for the first time at a wedding dessert buffet and loves it. If you like salty sweet desserts, you will like this. I use all different kinds of jello, pick your favorite.

great recipe! the icing in the middle was very good and i might just make that one day and put it on a brownie mix. if i were to change anything id use three boxes of jello next time it just needed a little bit more i thought. p.s. eat it fast, which wont be hard if you have a big family,(i only have two) if it sits in the pan too long it starts to taste a little funny

I liked this version and I didn't have frozen or fresh strawberries and this worked just fine.

amazing dessert.....I read a couple of reviews before I made it, and I ended up using 1 1/2 cups of water instead of 2. It turned out perfect. Sealing the pretzels with the filling definitely works to keep the jello out. Just fabulous. My family have made requests since. Delicious!

this was very salty. My pretzels were at the bottom of the bag that may have somthing to do with it. It seems like i could have potential but not sure if i will try it again.
