I am not a fan of chicken but I am on a low carb diet, so when I saw the good reviews for this recipe I decided to try it. Wow! I am so impressed! I followed the recipe exactly and the chicken came out perfectly! Very juicy and wonderful flavor. It was SO easy too! Thank you so much for posting! I will definitely be making this one again.

This is a fabulous marinade. I made it just like the recipe said. This will be my standard for chicken marinades from now on. Thanks for sharing!

An excellent recipe. I used this marinade on skinned and boned thigh meat that i skewered and cooked over the BBQ with brilliant results.

I broke a cardinal rule with this recipe. I made this recipe for the first time for a function with no trial at home first. My work was having a "family reunion" cookout, and I was in charge of the food. I let the chicken marinate for 4-5 hours, then grilled. The chicken was eaten more than the brats! Took leftovers home and shredded, added to some sauteed onions and garlic, mixed with bbq sauce, and put in crock pot for shredded bbq chicken for Monday Night Football. Awesome!

This recipe has been sitting in my recipe box for ages, and I finally made it last night. I did not change one thing except I only had 1 tbsp of liquid smoke when it called for 2. I also used regular soy sauce. It was TO DIE FOR. My boyfriend insisted I make it again, only with steak next time. :) For the side I made the Antipasto Salad recipe on this site, which was also mouth watering and went great with this chicken.

With all the good reviews, I figured I couldn't go wrong trying this recipe. I followed the recipe exactly as written, used low sodium soy sauce and only marinated for four hours. This just didn't have much flavor, seemed to be missing something. My husband and I didn't care for this at all. Sorry to say, I will not be making this one again.

Ever since we got a new smoker/grill we make this recipe weekly. I don't change a thing and the ingredients are things that are always on hand. The only thing I do change is that I cut the liquid smoke in half since we cook the chicken on a smoker. Otherwise it is delicious, easy to make and fairly easy clean up.

I am rating this 5 stars because it is very easy and I have taken it to family/friend get togethers twice and have had people raving over how good it was both times. This is definitely staying in my cookbook and being passed on to my friends and family.

This was great. Chicken was moist. I marinaded it for 6 hours and it turned out great. Didn't change a thing.

Incredible taste and simplicity. I made it for a cookout at a friend's house and her son said, "mom, you have to get this recipe."

Very yummy! I marinated the chicken all day, and it was some of the best I've ever made! Didn't have liquid smoke, but it still tasted excellent. Will definitely use again.

Since finding this recipe I have used it three times. The chicken stays so moist and has a great flavor. It also turns such an appetizing color.

I'm sorry to disagree with other reviewers, but this Marinade was not impressive and we feel didn't add much to the chicken. My BH is an excellent cook and loves to BBQ, so we thought this would be something different for our grilled chicken. It was too liquidy, didn't taste anthing other than the oil or soy sauce (too much if you ask me). And we feel it didn't do much to tenderize the chicken. I feel that once you "brine" poultry you can't go back to other recipes for tenderizing. I was hoping that the marinade would at least give this chicken some flavor, but it didn't work for me. Sorry!
