This was a hit w/my entire family (2 boys & hubby)! I needed a week nite dinner w/out running to the grocery. I had these ingredients on hand. Delicious! It didn't sound as good as it turned out! I used shredded hash brown potatoes because that's what we had! Everything else was according to recipe - no changes! Thanks for a recipe that everyone said is a "do again"!

This was a good weeknight dinner. I used shredded hash browns and left out the soup (didn't have it). It turned out just fine without it. I also used sliced american cheese (didn't have any cheddar). Overall it was good but the potatoes could have used a little something extra (pepper, paprika?). Thanks! Will make again

This was suprisingly good! The ingredients really don't sound all that appealing but as a casserole it was yummy. I used tator tots instead of hashbrowns. Thanks for the easy recipe!

This was awesome! I used tater tots instead of the shredded hashbrowns (couldn't find them) and the diced ones never turn out for me. Reminded me of extreme tater tots from Sonic!

Ruth, you are a genius!!! I would have never thought to mix all this into one dish but I'm glad you did! I am the mother of four young children & they all loved it!!! I will definately make this again sometime soon!

This was just ok for me also. It seemed like things should have been mixed up not layered. If I made this again I would add corn. I also had to cook this longer then stated. It would be good if you need to make something quick with things you have on hand.

This was just okay in my book, a suitable weeknight dinner. I used shredded hash browns per personal preference, and was pleased that they came out somewhat crispy on the very bottom. I don't think I liked the cream of potato soup that much, and overall I'd keep this in the rotation only because it is cheap, and really fast for a weeknight. Ultimately this is like a desperation casserole.
