If you like crispy patties, these fit the bill. I thought they were a little bland though so that's why I only gave them four stars.

Excellent, moist, delicious salmon patty! I followed the recipe as written with two exceptions. I didn't have any potato flakes or celery salt so I used ground celery seeds and sour cream and chive potato flakes. So good and so yummy! Way better than my Mom's recipe. Will be saving this to my recipe box to use again and again!

My family loved this recipe. I used left over salmon from a huge fillet we grilled. It was fab!! Served it with dill sauce I found on this site.

Great recipe made with ingredients usually found on-hand. I always serve it with "Mom's Dill Sauce" from this site. The whole family loves it.

I've made these several times and everytime they've been a hit. I didn't have potato flakes on hand this time so I just omitted them but everything else was the same and they still turned out great. My kids even like them. I didn't have tarter or horseradish so I whipped up some mayo, lemon juice, seafood seasoning (or Old Bay) and worchestershire and it's a nice sauce.

I have tried to make other salmon potato patties/cakes from other recipes in the past. The recipe I used to make used real sliced potatoes. It was time consuming, very messy/difficult to make, and the patties never stuck together properly. I tried this recipe when I was short of time one day. I LOVE it! Super easy to make and clean up after, the patties hold together very well, and they are just as tasty as the others I made!

I stuck to the recipe as written, (I know.. shocking!!) and it was great as is. Can tweak to your tastes also but I liked that I didnt have to think about it, I just followed what was in front of me. And they turned out really nice. Save your other ingredients for another dish. I was going to make the salmon cream sauce to go with but just topped with a dab of honey mustard salad dressing instead. Very good. Thanks for sharing!
