Not bad, the mixture was a little dry so I added an extra egg. Probably could have added a little milk or less bread crumbs. They were falling apart a little while frying. The flavor was decent, but could have used a little something more.

Great recipe, even hubby liked them and he's not a fan of canned salmon. Very moist and tasty. This is a keeper, thanks for the recipe!

Great flavor!!! recipe does not need any changes!!! but I made the patties smaller (pictured) and got 16 pieces. The only changes I made to the recipe, was to cover the patties with bread crumbs before frying (for the visual effect:) and like the other reviewer, I also added a mashed potato instead of potato flakes. The only thing I noticed was that some of the onion pieces remained crunchy because there wasn't enough frying time, so next time I might saute the onions separately before adding to the mix, although the crunchiness adds a nice texture. These are so delicious, they don't need any sauce, I just served them with mashed potatoes. Yummy!!

These have quickly become a favorite of ours. We don't always have dill, so sometimes I substitute finely diced garlic, black pepper or lemon zest. Yummy every time! Leftovers (if you're lucky enough to have any!) reheat nicely.

Just made these for dinner tonight. I followed the recipe exactly except for the dill weed. We don't like it so subbed about 1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper. Turned out great. Served the patties with the lemon sauce for salmon recipe, it's good too. An economical, easy and nutritious meal.

I will never make again. My step dad made some salmon patties when I was a kid and I don't know if it's the fact that I was really young or not. This was the first time making salmon. I will try a different recipe, but not this one again. My husband and son didn't even touch it. I cooked exactly as it directed on the recipe. I think it might have been the combination of ingredients in this recipe.

These were so tasty. I didn't have celery salt, so I added about 2 T. finely chopped celery. The only other change I made was omitting the seasoned bread crumbs - instead, I coated the patties in seasoned panko bread crumbs before frying them. I served them with coleslaw. They didn't need any sauce in my opinion.

Easy and tasty! I did use fresh salmon, broiled and then baked. It was just too darn hard to pick the "questionable" items out of the canned salmon!
