When I make them for children I skip the peppers altogether. They are time consuming, and yet easy to put together, so if you have children who like to help it's a great way to spend time together in the kitchen. They look good and taste good, even without the peppers (try adding taco seasoning if you want child friendly zing).

Always a hit at parties!!! I chop the jalepeno in a food processor and only put on half of them, as it really makes it hot and spicy

It was very easy to make and everyone liked it. I love the flavor the ranch packet gives it. I tried it a second time with salsa instead of jalapenos and it is not as good. Stick with the jalapenos.
