Oh yeah!! This is the best and first potato soup I ever made and it only took about 20 minutes to do. I doubled the recipie for myself, hubby, and adult son and it was gone by the evening, and they were asking for more.
The only thing I did was use chicken broth instead of water and I will always make it that way, (noticed other recipies on this site called for that instead of water) Am having some trouble finding my preferred brand of KNORR leek soup and dip mix, but when I do find it I stock up. Remember your bacon adds the salt so watch out adding additional. This is a wonderful wonderful recipie and 5 stars in my book. Congrats!!! And you others COOK THIS RECIPIE IT'S SOOOOO GOOOD!!
