Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup applesauce
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup chopped almonds
  • 3/4 cup crushed plain potato chips

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
  2. In a medium bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar and white sugar until smooth. Mix in applesauce. Stir in the flour and oats, then mix in the almonds and potato chips. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets.
  3. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
