Potato Chip Cookies VI

By: Fran
"Grandma Rall made this recipe lots, using up potato chip crumbs (usually stale) that nobody wanted. Walnuts add even more crunch to this unusual cookie."

  • 1 cup shortening
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  2. In a large bowl, cream together the shortening, white sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition, then stir in the vanilla.
