"This casserole is quick and easy to make. I use this recipe for all large gatherings and it is enjoyed by everyone. It uses powdered instant potatoes, sour cream, cheddar cheese, and bacon bits. The potatoes can be bought at any wholesale store."

Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 cups instant mashed potato flakes
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 (3 ounce) can bacon bits
  • 1 pound mild Cheddar cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Prepare potatoes according to package directions.
  3. Add sour cream and bacon bits; mix well.
  4. Place in a 9x13 inch baking dish and top with cheese; bake for 30 minutes or until cheese is melted.
