I just took this out of the bread machine... it turned out GREAT! I followed the directions/ingredients exactly. Very delicious subtle sweetness. I will be making this again and again! Thanks for the recipe!

This was very good. Made exactly as stated. I can't wait to try it with honey butter and a cup of coffee tomorrow morning. Thanks Jennifer

My sweetie loved this bread. I don't have a bread machine, so used my Kitchen Aid. Had to add more flour (I used regular unbleached) as dough was too sticky to work with. Well worth the effort and I agree with everyone that this is an excellent bread for french toast.

Thank you Jennifer! This has become our favorite! After slicing into lovely thick servings, I buttered, sprinkled with cinnamon/sugar and pan grilled till light brown. Hmmmmm However, this bread is just as delicious with nothing on it!

Although this bread rises right to the top of my bread machine, it gets cooked right through everytime. Tastes so amazing! So light and fluffy. Everyone loves this one.

Instead of cooking the bread in my machine, I used the dough only cycle. I then placed the dough on a pizza stone and brushed it with egg whites. I baked it at a 350 degree oven for 35 mins. It came out perfect, the bread had just right amount of sweetness, density and chewiness that can't be store bought. Yummy!

THis was only my second loaf of bread that I made in my new bread machine. WOW! It was beautiful! I used the lighter setting because of the review I read. It was wonderful. Smelled great too. I follow the recipe almost exactly, except added a touch of vanilla, and baked on light, white setting.

This was fabulous! We are overseas and don't much care for the very stale bread available at the grocery store. This recipe has enabled us to have toast, sandwiches and bread with meals. Thank you, Jennifer.

This recipe was very easy, and came out very tasty. For my second batch I lowered the yeast to 2tsp, upped the sugar to 1/2 c, and added lemon extract and ginger. Delicious!

I made by hand instead of in a bread machine, and it turned out pretty well. I imagine it works even better in the machine!

I made this recipe for 18 servings (1.5 times the ingredients) and I baked the loaves (2) in my pullman bread pans. They came out perfectly rectangular, with no dome and ready to be sliced. Once sliced, they look exactly like storebought slices, with no crust. I cannot bake bread in any other pan, other than the pullman bread ones. The only catch is that they are very expensive here (I bought mine overseas, for 5 dollars a piece).

Great recipe. I had a couple of problems with kneading, but later found out that my bread machine finally decided to "retire" without notice. I've made this again and again with my KitchenAid mixer and it was wonderful.

YUM! I made this bread tonight for dinner and it turned out lovely! Slightly sweet with a soft center and perfect crust. I only made 1/2 of the recipe b/c my bread machine is small, and it still turned out wonderful. I served this bread with a homemade honeybutter and everyone loved it including my 16 month old son. Thanks for the great recipe. I am adding this one to my list of all-time favorites.

This is really yummy and so simple! I absolutely love bread and sweets, so this combination is a winner in my book. The bread did rise right to the very top of my bread maker and I was afraid it would finish its baking cycle uncooked in some parts, as the dough pushing to the small window of the bread maker didn't brown. I was gladly proved wrong though, the bread baked perfectly and the crust was nicely crisp and brown (other than the top) and oh the texture! Was absolutely soft and spongy. The only negative thing I can say about this bread is that it does dry up rather quickly but toasting it eliminates that problem. Great fresh, just as great toasted.

Delicious and easy to make. My bread maker may be old, either that or I accidentally used all purpose flour rather than bread machine flour and it hit the top of the bread maker. I will absolutely make this again, making sure that I use the right flour.

This is the second type of bread I've made in my new machine. It's delicious-can't stop eating it! I live in Hawaii where we can purchase excellent sweet bread but I think I'm going to make my own from now on! Thanks a million!

This bread is more like a slightly sweet white bread than a "sweet bread", in my opinion. It does taste very good, and I think next time I make it I will use a little vanilla, as some reviewers have done. Seems like the bread would benefit from the added flavor. I decided to try mixing the ingredients in my bread machine (as one reviewer suggested) and then baking in the oven for 20 minutes at 350 degrees. I think this would have turned out great had I done exactly as this reviewer did. She baked the bread 10 minutes, turned it, and baked another 10. I didn't turn my bread during baking, and as a result, one side was very brown and the other was not quite done at the end of 20 minutes. So, make sure you turn the bread after 10 minutes of baking if you plan to use a conventional oven instead of the bread machine. I will say it smelled VERY good while baking. Just wish it hadn't turned out so brown on one side.
