"The bacon and dates in this simple yet elegant appetizer are wonderful together! My cousin whose husband was stationed in Portugal served these to rave reviews and so have I for 40 years! They are as easy as pie with only 2 ingredients and quick preparation time using round toothpicks."

THIS A GREAT RECIPE!!!Super Yummy!!!Everyone is amazed that its so simple. It sounds to good to be true, but if cook right they are these are to die for! Thanks for the a great recipe.
I tried these in the microwave, using thin sliced bacon, and we didn't think they were good enough to bother making them for a party, sorry. Too much trouble and not enough flavor for us.
What a find! So very easy, I took to a potlock, they were gobbled up as we were setting everything up, yummy for everyone!
Definitely a 5+! The first batch out of the oven were gone by the time the second batch came out. Everyone agreed they were delicious, and it is a recipe worth saving. This recipe needs no changes. Thanks for sharing it.
I made these when friends came to visit and they were gone before I knew it! Just the right combination of salty and sweet.
I've made a similar recipe for years for all family holiday gatherings. The only variance is that slice the date lengthwise and fill it with honey walnut cream cheese before wrapping with bacon. Don't overstuff and be sure to broil them slit side up. YUM!!!
These were very easy to prepare and they are a big hit with company. Everyone loved them.
This is amazing. So easy and So good.
