Family Recipe, a staple once a year when fresh tuna was available in my area. It's pretty spicy, so it is generally served with boiled potatoes which are perfect for soaking up the sauce. The sauce is awesome and stands up to the very meaty fish.

Portuguese Fava Bean Stew

Submitted by: Dawne
This hearty Portuguese style fava bean stew is full of flavor from the spicy chourico sausage, tomato sauce, onions, and spices. A traditional part of large gatherings, this stew is a great crowd pleaser. Serve this stew with plenty of crusty bread, no one will want to leave any of the sauce on their plate!
