This is a good recipe -- but not an excellent one (I cooked "as is" with no substitutions in order to truly experience the recipe). The distinction from good to great (for me) was in the mild flavor of the sauce. It was incredibly understated -- too much so. I didn't experience any "wow factor" in this dish. In short, it's a dish I'll cook again -- but this time will make personal changes (I think balsamic is a smart move, additional salt, maybe some light lemon zest in the sauce, etc).

This is phenomenal! I had to substitute because I was missing some things, but this is a really fun one to experiment with. I used red wine vinegar instead of white, apple cider instead of OJ, and lingonberry jam (from IKEA) for the raspberry jam. I have made this with raspberry jam too - just as good. I think I would try this with an orange marmalade and OJ next.

Best pork chop recipe ever!! You can do this with the really cheap cuts, even and it still turns out fabulous. Looks gormet and doesn't take very long at all. some suggested doing the sauce first or doing it in a different pan and I would discourage this. The drippings from the pork chops and the left behind spices from the rub, really, really help the sauce. I tripple the rub because it never seems to be enough for my chops. My 3 year old wants two every time I make this and there are never leftovers.

This was REALLY good. My family loved it. I used balsamic vinegar instead of white wine vinegar, and added 2 pats of butter at the end. Outstanding!

I made this for my wife, who grew up among a family of chefs, on a whim one evening and she loved it. The flavors are fantastic. I also served it at my Elks Lodge, as an appetizer for Valentines Day using Pork tenderloins sliced into medalions. That too was a great success.

DELICIOUS! I am not a big fan of pork chops and was very pleased with this recipe. Not only was it quick and easy, but the ingredients were simple too. I used red wine vinegar, but plan to try different vinegars and different jams in the future.

I made this for company the first time, and it was amazing! I doubled the sauce recipe and added extra balsamic to increase the tanginess. With roasted red potatoes and green beans, it was a perfect meal.

I thought this sounded interesting and was pleased with the result. I followed the recommendations to double the sauce (except the vinegar) and add a little butter to it. Served with rice.

Excellent! I did take the advice of others and added a little hot pepper sauce to the sauce and a little butter. My Pork chops were really thick boneless ones about 2 inches thick, so I cooked them a little slower - turned out super juicey. I made the sauce in a separately sauce pan. I will definitely be making this again! Couldn't get enough of the sauce - suggest doubling the sauce at least.

This was heavenly and very elegant looking on the serving platter. Followed the recipe as it said and only added a few diced onions to the oil and sauteed after removing pork chops. I was very glad I doubled the sauce so it enabled me to use some on the rice that I served with this dish. My family says they will definitely want this again. Thanks

Made these for my husband, and wow were they good. The sauce was a little thin so I ended up adding a little more jam. My advice would be to make all your side items and the sauce first, because the porck chops literally take 4-5 minutes to cook. The seasoning was excellent, I even enjoyed and I dont really care for pork chops. Thanks

Yummy! Like some other reviewers, I used balsamic vinegar and blackberry jam because that's all I had. It was excellent. We had it with garlic mashed potatoes and fresh baked asparagus. The sauce went well with everything. Definitely will make again!
