One of the Best Dishes I have ever made...I paired it with buttered spagetti and garlic roasted califlower and it was delicious...my husband and guest called it our "gourmet" dinner. Make exactly as directed and it was perfect!! Definitly will make again

We made this last night and followed the recipe exactly. My husband said it was a keeper even before we took the first bite, which confirmed his prediction. A great presentation to use when entertaining.

HUGE hit with my family. What a delicious combination of flavors. I took the advice of other reviewers and used canned tomatoes since the fresh ones I'd bought died before I could cook them. Grrr! Actually, I'll definitely use canned tomatoes again just to save money and make the recipe easier. I also cooked on slightly lower heat and then loosely covered the pan after searing the chops on both sides. I think this helped keep in some of the moisture. I'm not a big fan of pork chops so I'll probably try this again in the future with chicken.

What a great recipe. Very simple but comes out like you really put alot of time into it. The balsamic vinegar creates such a lovely sauce that blended perfectly with the mashed potatoes. This will be added to the lineup!

So simple and little time but big on flavor. This dish is served up a couples times a month at my home. I found that searing thick chops in O oil in a hot cast iron skillet for 5 minutes on each side and baking covered for one hour makes for a more flavorful chop. Then just finish the dish in the skillet on stove top as directed.

I will surely use this in the future! I loved it. I made some minor changes. I grilled the onions with the garlic then added the pork chops.I added a little bit of red pepper flakes. I used balsamic dressing instead and used about 3-4 tablespoons. I topped with tomatoes and continuted to grill. I added just a touch of chicken broth to keep the meat juicy. It was great!

Wow, simply delicious. I first seared the meat, and then simmered it with a little chicken broth and some of the minced garlic. I will be making this again in the next few days!

Wonderful. You can substitute regular tomatoes, but it is best if they are locally grown, in season, and therefore sweet.

Absolutely wonderful. Followed recipe to the letter except sans onions (family preference). It was so incredibly tasty, had great plate presentation and all were quiet while eating!

Excellent recipe. This looks very pretty on the plate, a great family meal but I would serve it to company as well. Lots of intense flavor, especially from the tomatoes. This one will be served often in our house!
