i really liked this recipe. it was easy and quite good. i just made my own o'brien potatoes with onion and diced bell pepper and garlic, instead of the frozen kind. it didn't alter or overpower anything at all for me.

This was the ultimate in comfort food. I also added some leftover chicken gravy, garlic powder and cayenne. Everyone loved it and I would definitely make it again.

This recipe is so easy and very, very tasty. Even my husband who doesn't really care for pork chops loved this. I made a few variations to accomodate our diet. I used roasted potatoes, 97% fat free cream of mushroom and fat free sour cream. I also used weight watchers cheese. A must try recipe!

Since serving this dish I have made copies of this recipe to pass out. It is very tasty and can be prepared ahead of time. I baked the dish about 50/55 minutes. Next time, I might add a tad more milk.

This is a great dinner. it is basically green bean casserole but with potatoes instead of green beans. i would definetly use cream of mushroom soup in place of the cream of celery. I would also add green beans to the casserole to give it a more hearty feel.

I didn't care much for this dish. The celery soup was overpowering to me. The potatoes were good (I would make a potato dish out of just the potatoes, minus the celery soup), but the pork chops took way more that 45 minutes to cook. I ended up removing the cover after 45 minutes, and the chops were still pink. Had to uncover and cook an additional 20 minutes or so. Just wasn't what I was hoping for from this dish.

Three & A Half Stars. Nice change and chops were good 'n' moist. But, I think the O'Brien potatoes oddly overpowered any other flavor. Added in Penzey's Pork Chop seasoning, garlic powder, and parsley. Browned the chops in olive oil, with chopped onion and minced garlic. Would make again, due to ease - but will use regular cubed hash brown potatoes - not O'Brien.

This was a very tasty recipe! I had 3 really thick pork chops, and wound up cutting them in half (butterfly style). I seasoned them with salt & pepper and browned them first before putting them in. I also can't find the O'Brien potatoes in my grocery store anymore, so I substituted the refrigerated diced potatoes and onions. Took a little more than 50 minutes to cook. A definite keeper!!

I made this tonight for supper and it was so quick and easy. I didn't have cream of celery soup, so I used cream of mushroom, and added some garlic powder to the potato mix. Turned out great! Pork chops were so tender and juicy, everyone loved them. Thanks!

My pork chops came out dry, maybe they were too thin. I still gave this 4 stars because the rest of it was really good! I am going to try making it as a side dish without the pork chops next time and just put the cheese on top of the potatoes.

Very good and easy to make (my favorite kind of recipe!). My only complaint is that my potatoes were still a little on the crunchy side after the time needed, but they could have not been thawed out all the way either. We will definitely be putting this into our monthly rotation. As others have said, you could substitute shredded potatoes for the cubes, and even use different soup. I personally like it just the way is is. Thanks for the recipe!

This was very quick to put together and tasted good. Did everything according to directions except I accidently used regular salt instead of seasoned salt which was an oversight on my part. The taste was still good!

I thought this was delicious! I was all set to make it then discovered I didn't have the potatoes after all, so I substituted some cooked minute rice instead. It was really good! I also added mushrooms.

This turned out really excellent! The chops were moist and the flavors in the sauce and the onions really complemented each other. I did add a little garlic salt and pepper to the chops before browning them but other than that no changes. Thanks for a keeper! Edited: I've made these twice, once with regular cubed hash browns and once with the O'Brien. We prefer the regular, the O'Brien gave this kind of an odd flavor as other reviewers have stated.
