I had leftover BBQ pork chops and didn't know what to do with them. I thought no matter how I'd heat them they would get dry...not with this recipe! Super moist and great flavor. We loved the sweet apple taste. I used whatever apples I had in the house. I made sure that each piece of pork had a ring of apple on top! If you like a fruit flavored dish this is the one for you! You could probably do most of the cooking ahead of time and refrigerate until you're ready to bake.

my family enjoys this casserole but we use red apples - not green. just be sure your pork chops are too thick!

My Husband said the pork chops were good, I don't know if he was really in the mood for the apples on top. I thought it had a really nice presentation, and I would recommend trying this dish.
