Condensed tomato soup and beaten egg are combined with ground beef, rice, chopped onion, parsley, and seasonings. The mixture is formed into meatballs, and simmered in a covered skillet with additional soup and Worcestershire sauce for 20 to 30 minutes.

'I first made these meatballs when our children were small, and they just loved them,' notes Mary Kelso of Hannibal, Missouri. 'I occasionally use cream of mushroom soup instead of tomato soup, and that variation is delicious, too.'

Homemade meatballs made from beef, onion, oatmeal, evaporated milk, and egg, and glazed with a homemade barbecue sauce made with ketchup, brown sugar, garlic, and liquid smoke. Best meatballs I ever tasted. Everyone asks for this recipe.

Beef meatballs are browned, then simmered in a sweet and sour sauce. Great as an appetizer or as a main dish served over rice.
