FAN-TASTIC!! This is so tasty on spinach with apples, walnuts and dried cranberries. After making the recipe exactly as stated, the next time I subbed plain light soy milk for the milk and it came out just like the original. Also, I used olive oil mayonnaise. Thanks for a great recipe that is now a staple in my cookbook. Anything that helps us get all those veggies in is much appreciated!

This really IS a great recipe! Since I'm dieting, I used skim milk and Splenda sugar substitute. Tasted great!

Very good dressing. I used splenda instead of sugar. As others suggested, I used apple cider vinegar instead of white vinegar and it was very tasty, low in fat and sugars. Thanks for sharing!

I love this recipe. I was out of milk, but had buttermilk, so I used it. Also, used red wine vinegar. Delicious!!! I have been searching for a dressing similar to my favorite salad at Panera, Strawberry Chicken Poppy Seed Salad. I have finally found it. I might experiment with adding orange, lemon or lime zest. I can't wait to have it again. It will be a new staple for me in the frig. Thanks!!

IMHO this is a mock poppyseed dressing recipe in that it is not made in the traditional method... but that said, it is a great option for when you need a fast fix substitute. Pleasantly surprised!

Great recipe! I used apple cider vinegar, rather than white distilled, light mayonnaise added about 1/2 a tsp of onion powder, one teaspoon of Dijon mustard, and left out the milk... it tastes just like what I could buy at the grocery store!!!

I made this with Splenda and light mayo, and served it with a really simple salad: baby spinach, strawberries, oranges, and sunflower seeds. It was a HUGE hit at the potluck I took it to. As one person said, "This is the first time I've actually wanted more salad."

Excellent, restaurant quality. Have passed it along to some of my customers and they love it as well. Have made it many many times and will continue to do so. I mixed balsamic vinegar with the white vinegar for a nice flavor.

Really quick, easy and tasty. I added a teaspoon of lemon juice because I like a touch of citris.

This is a great, quick, healthy alternative to fattening store-bought dressing. To further reduce calories, I used a mix of Splenda and sugar. Also, I substituted apple cider vinegar for the distilled white and cut down a bit on the poppy seeds. Very nice over spinach with grilled shrimp, sliced strawberries, and purple onion. Add a baked sweet potato on the side, and you've got dinner!

I thought this was terrific, with a few changes. The thought of fat free Miracle Whip did not appeal to me. For full flavor, use the real stuff. Hellmann's Real Mayo is the best! I also used less sugar and less poppy seeds. Turned out great! Much better than store bought.

I wasn't very impressed. The mayonaise flavor prevailed, and there were too many poppy seeds. Also, the dressing was way too thin compared to any other poppy seed dressing you would buy at the store.

Very good and easy. Used as a dressing for a spinach salad. I used spinach, boiled eggs, thin sliced red onion, and bacon. Every bit was gone. Thank you!!
