Although the batter seemed too buttery at first they turned out great! They tasted a lot like lady fingers, as recipe we used to make with left over cookie dough from roll-out cookies. Yum Yum!

Anytime I go to Texas I search out these cookies from local Mexican bakeries. I tried this recipe and it was just like those in the Lone Star State. I hate creaming butter, but in this case it's worth it! I"m so glad to finally make these in my own home. Thanks!!

These cookies are melt in your mouth hits. I made them with cinnamon from Penzys and they were out of this world.
