We made these last week and absolutely loved them! My husband said they taste exactly the same as the one's he orders at popular chain restaurants. He insisted that night that we add "Fajita night" to the regular menu rotation. Loved it!!

This had great flavor. My husband is not a fan of 'new' food, but he really enjoyed this - we will be making these often! I took advice from other reviewers and doubled the marinade for 2 chicken breasts, and cooked the chicken in the marinade. Also, used white vinegar because I had it on hand.

Was short on time and ingredients (no lemons) but nonetheless tasted great! I doubled the vinegar b/c I could only marinate for 15 minutes. I sauteed the onions separately with a little salt and pepper. Then separately, I sauteed garlic for about a minute in some oil, chili powder, and cumin, then threw in the chicken to cook.

The marinade for this recipe is excellent, I actually double the marinade ingredients this recipe calls for because it doubles as a wonderful sauce in the fajitas. I absolutely love making this recipe because its easy, quick and tastes wonderful. It is my husband's current favorite recipe, I would definitely recommend trying these Pollo Fajitas.

I doubled the meat and quadrupled the marinade/sauce; I guess my friends and I just eat a lot. I marinaded the chicken in a ziploc bag in the fridge for little over an hour and the meat was moist and flavorful. I did put some garlic in the skillet before the meat, as well. I might not scale the soy sauce with everything else next time, though, as the meal was a bit salty. I probably should have found skinless, boneless thighs, but I didn't... which contributed to some manual labor on my part. Under those conditions, not particularly bachelor-friendly. Find skinless/boneless as the recipe calls for, though, and it's easy enough.

Definitely marinate the chicken for a few hours. This recipe is awesome. The only thing I did differently was I used seasoned chicken fajita strips and I added the lime juice to my marinade. Otherwise, excellent flavor. My guy and I loved it! Update: I've made these several times now, and it does taste better with boneless skinless chix breasts cut into strips. But I like the easy way out sometimes, prepared chix strips! :)

Fantastic! I never have any leftovers. The only thing I change is that I prefer to use a lime instead of a lemon.

Well this was good but it didn't have as much flavor as I'd hoped. I think the marinade needs to be doubled and it needs to sit longer than 30 minutes. Also could use another clove or two of garlic. I added a Tbsp each of lemon and lime juices to the marinade. But I just really couldn't taste it at all on the chicken.

This was my first attempt at Fajitas - glad I used this recipe! Though I used chicken breasts, white vinegar, cayanne pepper, etc I had on hand. The lemon at the end was wonderful and leftovers are even better. Hubby and I loved this recipe- itsa keeper!

This was an absolutely wonderful and fast recipe. My husband who doesn't usually care for Fajitas loved it as well. I really think it is the fact that the chicken is marinated that makes the difference. I thought that everything was perfect in this recipe. The only thing that I did differently was leave out the green peppers because my husband doesn't like them... and I forgot to add the lemon juice at the end... but they still tasted great! We topped them with cheese, salsa, and sour cream. Yum Yum! Thanks for the recipe!

I wasn't as thrilled with this as I had hoped. It was good but it needed a little more kick. Maybe a bit more hot sauce would have helped. I added onions mushrooms and red and green bell peppers. I also used chicken breasts which lowered what little fat content there was.

Excellent recipe. Very easy to prepare. Added some (very little) shredded cheese to it when I rolled it in the bread. Added a little extra. This recipe went very well with the "Classic Spanish Sangria" recipe that I found here at Allrecipes.

Soooo good!! I increased the garlic to 3 cloves (we love garlic) and the hot sauce to taste. I also cooked the chicken in the marinade. It was so juicy and absolutely wonderful! My husband loved it too. This will definitely become a staple in my house.

Very, very, very good fajitas! Very easy to make as well. I marinaded these and grilled them and they were amazing! Hubby said he doesn't have to get fajitas from Chili's anymore... ;o) I didn't have a problem w/ the soy sauce at all. I used low sodium and found the chicken to be seasoned perfectly. Most chain resturants use soy sauce in their marinades as well. So if you like Chili's or Hard Rock Cafe's fajitas, you'll like these. This is in the monthly rotation from now on.
