Delicious recipe! I was a little concerned because the marinade smelled so sharp but it was absolutely delicious! Definitely a keeper!

I have been using this recipe for a couple of years now. It is great! The only thing I do different is add more hot pepper sauce. Thanks!

i love this recipe.. make sure you marinate long enough for more flavor. i substituted balsamic vinegar instead of cider since that was the only one i had, but it tasted great nonetheless ;)

Very good fajita marinade recipe. I doubled the sauce and made it in the morning and marinated it all day. I also added more garlic and diced up some jalapenos because we like it spicy. I have used this with beef and chicken and it's been great every time.

This was great but I left out the soy sauce based on others' feedback. Also added cumin, cayenne, paprika, and oregano.

Followed perfectly, an easy recipe, but very surprised with all the good reviews it was not very good. Meat had no coating/sauce, and was very dry.

GREAT!!! My family of 5 devoured it!!! I used just over 2lbs of chicken and doubled the marinade recipe as others suggested. I also added 2 tsp of cumin and put the lemon in the marinade. Just becuz I love citrus, I squeezed 1/2 a lime on the chicken at the very end too. YUM YUM YUM!!!! If you want to add even more flavor to this, pound the chicken breasts out with a meat tenderizer, marinade and grill on the bbq. OH YEAH!!!! Tenderizing the chicken helps the chicken from drying out on the bbq! A family favorite!!!!!

So good! I did double the recipe to have more sauce, and also added 1 tsp of cumin, 1/4 cup beer, and 1 Tbsp of brown sugar. During the sauteeing, I also added 1 tsp of corn starch to thicken the sauce a bit to my liking. I'll definitely be adding this recipe to my list of favs!

I had my heart set on fajitas tonight but I was out of the standard Old El Paso seasoning, so I tried this- delicious! What a unique taste. The chicken and veggies would probably taste great over rice as well. The color of the marinated chicken makes it more difficult to see when it's done. Be sure to cut uniform slices thin enough that you can be certain they cook all the way through. I ended up using almost double the amount of sauce the recipe called for. I used garlic salt instead of minced garlic, and since I didn't have hot sauce I added more chili powder and ground cayenne for an extra kick. Personally, I like my veggies cooked more than the final result of this recipe. I ended up picking out the chicken and letting the veggies simmer an extra 5+ minutes. Next time (there will definitely be a next time!) I'll set some sauce aside and start cooking the veggies before the chicken.

The marinade for the chicken was fine, but I don't think it really tasted like a fajita marinade. I think I'll stick with my old standby in the future. The chicken did taste good, it was just different for a Mexican marinade. Soy sauce? Hm. Mixed with hot sauce? Sounds like a stir fry recipe to me.

I also added cumin, coriander, paprika (instead of red pepper flakes) black pepper, garlic salt, and since I had some unused salsa in the fridge, I threw that in too. After everything, this was a strong, tasty marinade.

This recipe is fantastic! My husband and I had it for dinner the other night and we both raved over the flavor. Afterwards, I realized we forgot to add the lemon juice, so I will try that next time, but it was amazing even without it! I've already shared the recipe with family and friends. =)

My family loved this recipe. Using the lemon with the recipe is a MUST. Do not miss this step. Totally changes the flavor of the chicken. I used chicken breasts and added a little cumin because I love it. Other than that followed exactly. Will definately use again, can't taste the soy sauce or worch. sauce -- doesn't taste asian at all.
