These are addicting! The whole family enjoyed these, especially my 19 mo. old daughter! Crescent rolls are kind of hard to work with once they have been sitting out so work fast! Great little snack.

This recipe was alright. Not the pinwheels I remembered while I was in New York. I'll try to make this again but change it up a bit. First, I think the pinwheels need to be bigger. Next, the dough tasted more like croissants than pizza. With a little tweaks, we will get it!

Didn't turn out too pretty, but tasted great. I put sauce on the inside and they turned out flat. Will try without sauce next time. My husband keeps asking me to make them again!

I've made this like 5 times for parties/pot luck. Always a hit. I do brush the roll with a mixture of butter, garlic and oregano before spread the cheese and peperoni.

I made these for a 5yo, 9yo, and 13yo. Although they were very tasty and a big hit I found them a pain to assemble even though I took the advice to freeze the dough.

What's not to like? Super easy. I chopped up the pepperoni because it made things much easier, used reduced fat crescent rolls (because I totally can't tell the difference!), and used spaghetti sauce (because it was cheaper than pizza sauce. haha). Served at a lingerie shower- didn't have any left.

I made these using the Garlic Butter flavored crescent rolls. My family absolutely loved them, as did my book club group. I didn't even bother with the pizza sauce - and didn't miss it. Will definitely make these again next time I need a quick appetizer.

I was very disappointed as to how these turned out after reading so many positive reviews. After reading recommendations from previous posters to freeze the dough for 20 minutes, pinching the dough with a little bit of water, to chopping the pepperoni, this appetizer was not worth the trouble in the end.

These were absolutely delicious! My husband didn't like that you had to dip it in the sauce so next time we might try and put the sauce on the rolls as well - but I loved the dipping. VERY good.

I made these for my boyfriend and myself.. my boyfriend said they were decent but I did not like the crescent roll taste.. would have been better if it was regular pizza dough rolled up and baked

I served these as an appetizer before homemade pizza, and my friends loved them. I was not a fan of the "crescent roll taste", but overall I thought they were pretty good. I agree that is is not as messy if you chop the pepperoni first, then mix all the filling ingredients together.

so good! even my pickiest brother ate them and loved them! very simple, however instead of assembling them on a cookie sheet, do it on a cutting board so you won't scratch the sheet. delicious!

These things are incredible! When we have friends over, the pinwheels are the very first thing to go. As others have said, I highly recommend refrigeration before cutting them. I've also made these with the pepperoni diced and added diced onion as well. Delicious!!!

mmm, this recipe was so easy to make and tasted delicious. I used store bought pizza dough instead of the crescent rolls and it was amazing. I rolled the dough out really thinly and then put the sauce and toppings on as I normally would with a pizza. Then, I used a pizza slicer to slice 1" x 5" rectangles and folded the ends in. Then I threw it in the oven at 375 for about 10-15 minutes and they came out nice and crispy. I don't know why, but it tastes so much better than pizza. A normal store bought dough made around 25-30 pieces.

I tried to follows others advice, but my biggest proble came with rolling the wheels. I tried multiple ways: 1. rolled a wheel after refrigerating, but the dough wouldn't stick together and I ended up with holes all over. I sliced it with a charp knife and inserted toothpicks to hold them together on thier sides. 2. i left one roll unsliced with toothpicks in it. 3. Two rolls I didn't bother rolling, which tirned out to be the cleanest method. They were still eaten, but it wasn't worth the mess or time. I might try it again, but take a very different approach, such as using less ingredients or maybe different dough.
