This is my "go-to" recipe for pizza dough. Typically, I need more than 2 cups of flour to get the right consistency.

For some reason the dough just doesn't want to roll out for me. Other than that I thought it tasted pretty good.

I can not get my kids to stop asking if we can make home made pizza again! This was great and I was all out of olive oil the first time I made it so I used veg. and it was still great. We divided it up into 4 balls and each of the kids got to make their own personal pizza. I brushed the crust with garlic butter. Next time I'm going to make a double batch and make bread sticks too.

I have to admit that I have terrible luck with dough, but I followed the recipe and ended up with a sticky mess. I even added a cup of extra flour to no avail. I wanted to give this a great review, but I'm sorry to say this just didn't work for me.

Simply wonderful. I haven't done homemade pizza in a while, but this was great. Just a note: I use large cookie sheets for my pizza, I needed two batches to make a good crust.

I have to say thank you.. I truly loved this recipe. The 2nd time - I added a few more seasonings to give it that Italian flavor. **I added garlic powder, italian seasonings, and crushed basil while mixing the flour mix, and used the Rapid Self-rising yeast. This was quick, simple and very delicious.

Yum! Yum! And more Yum! A total winner, and so easy too! I made this as stated except I added 4 tsp vital wheat gluten since I was using all pupose flour instead of bread flour, and it was perfect! I loved the way the crust tasted, it was delicious! This is my new go-to pizza recipe! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Just made this for supper tonight - my first time making any kind of dough from scratch - and I think it turned out great! My husband agrees. The only thing I did different was brush it with olive oil and prebake at 450 for 5 minutes before topping it. Then about 10-15 more minutes, until it was getting pretty brown. I'm not sure I'll ever use a mix again! It's worth the effort (which thankfully is not a lot!). :-)

It's not "the BEST" but it was very good for the time it took to make it. I read a couple reviews before I made it and I cut back to 3/4 c. of water. I set it on top of the stove while it was preheating so it would rise good. I also raised the temp of my oven to 400 degrees & it was done in 20 minutes. I added italian seasoning & garlic powder to it. I didnt have bread flour so i used my self rising flour & it turned out okay. All in all it's pretty good.

Very good recipe..easy to make. I didn't have bread flour so I used regular, and it turned out fine. I also took the advice of some others and added 1/2 tsp. of garlic powder and 1/2 cup more flour....dough is way too sticky otherwise.

Very easy recipe thats leaves room to play with it. I had some oregano and garlic powder sometimes. I bake mine on a pizza stone @ 500 for 10 minutes. It comes out crispy and perfect.

This recipe was great! Not complicated at all. This was my first try at making pizza from scratch, and it was perfect. I will defiantly be using it again. I did not really change the recipe, but I did add a tad extra flour, some fresh ground pepper and dry Greek seasoning. And I also sifter the dry ingredients together to unsure a lump free dough.

I loved this recipe. It was verry easy to work with. I added in something else you may want to try. Three habenero pepers were cut up and boiled into 1/4 cup of viniger. After boiled (set in microwave for 3 minuets) the peper remains were strained out the the viniger was added to the yeast mixture at the beggining. Next three jalapeno peppers were diced and added. And extra half cup of flower was needed. But thanks for the recipe.

Nice recipe for pizza dough and I've tried many. I love using the bread flour, however I had to use at least 3 cups, maybe more to get it so it wasn't so sticky. I don't measure the sugar, but I probably use about 1 T. or 2. I also let it rise about 45-50 min. Thanks for the recipe!

GREAT recipe to work with, easy to roll out! Mods: 1/2 c more flour, 1/2 t of garlic powder, dash of basil and italian seasoning. I also added the sugar to the yeast/water instead of in the dry ingredients. Rolled it out very thin, added toppings and baked at 425 for a thin/crispy crust. Awesome recipe!

Amazing recipe! I have used it dozens of times since first trying it out just a few weeks ago! I've adapted it for my family. I double the recipe and I just do a little drizzle of olive oil to keep the fat down. I've used it for pizza, breadsticks, and cheese bread. We won't be buying take out pizza anymore! It is so quick and easy! It has been extremely popular with my friends and family. It is so easy to stretch! My doubled recipe fills two jelly roll pans. I cook it at 425...I like a crisp crust! I'm definitely going to be passing this one along! Thanks!
