I made this casserole for supper tonight and I think that this has to be one of the best casseroles ever!! This is definitely a keeper. I followed the recipe exactly as shown. I will definitely pass this on to my family.Thank you Mellisa

I made this the day before and when I reheated it the next day it came out very dry even though I added tomato cocktail juice before reheating. The pasta just soaked up all the marinara. If I try it again, I'll pre-cook pasta then heat, mix, & bake day of.

Very good basic recipe. Definitely beats out a box type dinner, if you make those. I added a can of mushrooms and a little cheese in with the mixture as well as the amount on top. I'd suggest adding some additional seasoning such as Marjoram or Basil and maybe some fennel seed. I used turkey pepperoni to save calories and reduce any additional grease and no one even noticed. I also added 1/4lb Italian sausage into the hamburger mixture which gave some additional flavor (be sure to drain off grease!). Made the night before, so I increased the time in the oven before adding the cheese as it needed it in order to heat through after being refrigerated. All in all, an easy Sunday night dinner.

Mmmm...who doesn't love pizza casserole?! I follow this recipe pretty closely except I always add more cheese. You can never have too much cheese! :) Sometimes I add mushrooms or black olives or whatever else I have on hand that sounds good at the time. I also like to use ground sausage instead of ground beef.

That's amore-- okay, maybe not quite-- but this pizza casserole is pretty good. It was easy to make and didn't require any fancy, expensive ingredients. I, personally, would have preferred a lasagna or a pizza but the combo deal we've got going on here is tasty and different. I told my gent I felt like it was a fancy hamburger helper meal minus all the sodium and fillers.
