Very good and easy. I used turkey italian sausage and turkey pepperoni. I did add more sauce. I am going to try adding some diced zucchini next time to sneak in some vegetables for my picky 2 year old.

Good, easy supper. No frills, just a simple weeknight dinner. Easy to make ahead and use on-hand ingredients.

Very quick and easy recipe and most importantly, my family loved it. I'd think it is fairly obvious but this is a meal for a family looking for comfort style food not someone looking for fine dining. It really didn't come out tasting all that much like pizza to me but the taste was appealing and enjoyable. I would describe it as a pizza meets lasagne meets goulash dish and it fits beautifully into a rotation that would include them as a change of pace. I made a double recipe and substituted another brand of sausage that didn't really cook down all that much. This made the recipe far too sausage heavy. Next time I'm going to try about half the sausage and see how it goes. I also doubled the pepperoni which seemed to work out well.

Ok not bad, found it to be alittle on the dry side (not very saucy)..But with adding and changing a few things I'd make this again.

Very good! My husband LOVED it!!! It was a little spicy to me- I would like to try it with ground beef instead of sausage just to cut down some of the calories and fat.

OK, I'm going to be one of those annoying people that says it was great and then tells you the million changes I made, lol It is a great base recipe though and you can build upon it. All my changes are based on a 13x9 casserole dish for amount. I have a big family and like leftovers. Anyway, we used 12oz egg noodles instead of elbow. We also doubled the amount of cheese. I sauteed onions, mushroom and the yellow pepper in some butter, salt and pepper. I cut back the amount of sausage and only did 5 sausages (cut up) in the casserole. It seemed like to much sausage to double it. With the extra veggies and cheese it came out great.

What a great twist on traditional goulash. Great, kid-friendly recipe. This can be prepared ahead of time, kept in fridge and thrown in the oven after work.

This is a good one! For a large family it's a great cheap recipe. I made some changes. I doubled the sauce because it wasn't enough. I added mushrooms, green bell pepper and onion. Next time I will add black olives. I also mixed in 3 tablespoons of parmesan. I would say what I made would feed at least 9 easily. Very large recipe.

My husband and I both really enjoyed this dish. I used shell pasta since I didn't have elbow and roasted red peppers from a jar instead of the yellow bell pepper. It turned out wonderful and was easy to make.

Well, definitely kid-friendly for the most part. My kids thought it was spaghetti. I did substitute small diced chicken in lieu of the sausage which probably made a difference, but we are not sausage fans. And definitely add seasonings...I added garlic and Italian, plus the standard pepper. But it was ok, not the greatest and definitely not the worst.

This was ok. I added onion, mushrooms, minced garlic and italian seasonings. I also used egg noodles in place of macaroni (I was out of macaroni). My kids liked it, my husband was so-so about it. I don't know if I would make this again or not. It was good but nothing to rave about.
