We own a Vitamix so I used fresh pineapple (with the core), a frozen banana and some coconut along with the buttermilk and ice. Absolutely no sugar needed. DELISH!

This was sooo good! I halved the recipe, but kept the pineapple amount basically the same. The pineapple I used was some I had froze. I think for it to taste it's best the pineapple should be put in the freezer first. For the milk, I just soured some of my own. I used 1 percent milk and added a tad of white vinegar. To cut back on the sugar I used 1 packet of Truvia for half the recipe instead of regular sugar. I wasn't sure how to measure the ice cubes, so for half the recipe I used 8 cubes. I worked out in the yard all day and this was so refreshing. It was a nice change to cold lemonade.

A good smoothie to use up the ingredients I was looking for, buttermilk and pineapple juice. I made this as written only using fresh pineapple rather than canned. It was good and the buttermilk and pineapple were a good combination, only it was lacking the "oomph" to make it a great smoothie. I think this would be very good with adding raspberries or strawberries.

It was good, but really sweet. I added a frozen banana to my smoothie and took out the sugar. I also used half a cup of coconut milk and half a cup of buttermilk instead.

This is an awesome smoothie to complement a meal. It's flavorful, but won't overpower your meal.

I skipped the ice cubes and used a handful of chunked frozen bananas instead and I didn't not add the sugar. Both the kids and I thought this was great--very pineapple-y. The combination of the buttermilk and pineapple was quite tasty.

Delicious, very pineapply. Not too sweet, so nice and healthy. I usually make it with vanilla yogurt so then I omit the sugar. It is a delicous recipe.
