this is by far one of the best desserts I've ever had. do not change a thing (well maybe you could add more pretzel mixture, i don't see how that could hurt). everyone who ate this loved it and asked for the recipe. Try it and you won't be disappointed :)

Pleasantly surprised by this one! Definitely increase the pretzels to 2 cups. I tried it with only 1 cup as stated and i could barely spread it in the pan. I waited until just before serving to add the pretzels to the cream cheese mixture as suggested. Thank goodness because the pretzels get soggy pretty quickly. This is more of a one time dish- not great for leftovers. I ate a bit of it here and there for 2 days after I made it and it was still good but not anywhere near as delicious as it was the 1st day.

WOW!!!! I made this a little more figure friendly by using 1/3 less fat cream cheese and cool whip free. YUMMY!

Someone help please. Does it matter what type of pretzel you use in this recipe. It does not state, but the picture seems to be showing pieces of the larger pretzel rods. Thanks

Just tried this recipe, and we all loved it. My company could not figure out what the crunchy bits were, and they were surprised to find out the ingredients! I will definitely make this easy and delicious dessert again.

Oh yum!! I took this dish to two family potlucks this summer and people first gave it some strange looks and would ask, "What is that?!?". Not even an hour later, it was gone and I had several requests for the recipe. Very good and fairy simple recipe. On a side note, I like to stir up the butter/pretzel mixture immediately after it comes out of the oven--otherwise I find it a complete mess to break up out of the pan.
