DE-LICIOUS!!!! It's pretty simple and it has a great taste! The only thing I changed is I used a fresh pineapple and less sugar cause of my parents, they try to eat really healthy so i tried it with 2/3 cup of organic sugar and it was still pretty tasty Its taste is similar to the piña colada we make here in Puerto Rico.

Made this over the weekend and loved it. I love pineapple and next time I think I’ll play with the recipe and add more crushed pineapple to it. But it’s really very good as is, thanks for sharing!

Used fresh pineapple, pureed is the blender (a little more than a cup and a quarter of purée). Added a capful of vanilla extract. Husband said it tasted like the Dole Whip they have at the Magic Kingdom (major compliment!). Batch fit perfectly into my Cuisinart Ice Cream machine. Took about 20 minutes to freeze.

This recipe is semo-so-so, didn't have much flavor and was too creamy (If there is such a thing in ice cream). This ice cream will probably sit in our freezer for a while before it's eaten up.

Delicious. Missed the part in the recipe where it indicates you'll have some left over (it's vague), so just drank it like eggnog. LOL. Will probably add a second can of pineapple when I make it again, but I love pineapple so that's just a preference.

I didn't change a thing. My husband and son loved it. I mixed it all up the day before, put it in a pitcher and made it fresh the next day. Thank you!

Very good recipe. Switch heaving/whipping cream to 2 cups and milk to 1 and 3/4 cups so you don't waste any part of the pint container. Add a little more sugar for a richer taste.

Delicious flavor! I'm not typically big on fruit ice creams, but this is an exception! I followed the recipe exactly, and it turned out very well. A week later, I think the flavor is even better! The one thing I would do differently is crush the canned pineapple even more - maybe even stick it in a blender for a bit. I wasn't crazy about the chunks of pineapple, but that's personal preference. Great flavor, though!

This was a great recipe. I accidentally read the instructions wrong and added an entire 15oz can of pineapples...I'm glad I did this because it lent more pineapple flavor! I also added 3 tablespoons of pure vanilla (the alcohol keeps it from getting rock hard). This makes a lot of ice cream, so you may want to halve the recipe if you have a 2 quart machine.

Very lovely. My husband and I are pineapple fanatics so I added more pineapple and juice. Hubbie gushed over it and said it was very refreshing. Would absolutely make it again. Yummers!
