Nice sweet rice recipe. I used this with chicken BBQ. Make sure you measure your rice after cooking it to be sure you have 2 cups, this might help make sure it's not too liquidy. I drained the pineapple and skipped the ham. I'll be tripling this recipe for a party this weekend!

This turned out well but I changed the recipe more than I intended. I didn't feel like heating up the house so I prepared it in a skillet. I added onion, matchtick carrots, jimaca, and red pepper to enhance it a little bit. I also cut the sugar in half and used brown rice. With a salad it made a good summer meal.

I made this on top of the stove as opposed to baking it as I was in a rush and it was delicious. I did use less of the sugar, added peppers and onions and used my favorite coarse grainy mustard. Will make again.

This was different. But good. I'm not sure I would make it again though. I drained the pineapple completely and there was still a bit of liquid in the bottom. Wasn't a problem though. My husband said it was okay and it did smell good. I thought the flavor was kind of dull even with adding onions and some seasonings. But that's probably just me.

I made this today with a Kalua pork recipe I found on this site, and it was a wonderful sidedish! I made it exactly the way it instructs minus the mustard (i didn't have any) and it was delish! It wasn't even runny like some other posts said it was. Thank you!

I paired this with "Kalua Pig in a Slow Cooker" from this site, so I omitted the ham from the recipe. The two were perfect together! I'll definitely make this recipe again with many different pork dishes. Thanks for a great recipe!

Simple, and actually a rather delicious recipe. If you like Hawaiian pizza, you'll probably like this recipe. The pineapple was quite juicy on it's own, so I separated it from the juice and then added the juice slowly in order to gauge how much would be enough (I was imagining adding soy sauce to rice).

Very quick and easy! I made the rice ahead of time, then dumped all the ingredients in the casserole dish. I used prebaked chopped ham. Based on previous reviews, I drained the canned pineapple and it turned out perfect. Plus, I have two very picky kids and they both cleaned their plate. My husband had two helpings, so I'm adding this to my list of easy dinners to make.

This was good, but we noticed a little runny. It set up nice the next day as left overs. I would maybe make it the night before and put it in the oven. Nice and easy!

Great idea, but turned out a little soupy. Added some cheddar cheese for a twist. Either drain some juice from pineapple juice or add more rice. Overall, a good dish!

This recipe is delicious! My brother was visiting and he and I both loved it. The only problem I had was that it turned out a little runny, even though I did drain off most of the juice out of the pineapple before I added it to the mix..but it did not affect the flavor at all. When I make this again I will add a corn starch mixture to thicken it up some. Thanks for a great recipe!

Wasn't quite sure if this would be much of anything and I was surprised at how delicious this was. I am not a ham lover but the pineapple and the sweetness from the brown sugar made it great.

My family loved this. It's very sweet, providing a nice contrast with the salty taste of the ham. I used a multi grain brown rice and it was excellent. We will definitely be having more of this in the future!

This was so simple and delicious. I'm moving in a couple of days so was running low on ingredients and this was perfect. I added onions and next time would add green peppers. Thanks for the recipe.
