I 'inherited' this recipe from the family that owned the building where I rented my first apartment. It's one of my favorites and very easy to prepare. It's great for company because you can mix the loaf in advance, then simply pour on the sauce before putting it in the oven...it's the sauce that makes it so good!

I used to make this delicious entree often for my family. I still make it when I have company.

Slices of pineapple and a maraschino cherry make my mom's homey ham loaf pretty enough for company. The accompanying vanilla and raisin sauce lends a distinctive flavor to the meat. -Susan Ormond, Jamestown, North Carolina

This ham version of meat loaf was one of my mother's standbys, and it's now a main dish my husband and I enjoy often. The sauce, which has a nice hint of sweetness, reminds me of the color of the sky when I enjoy a golden Southwestern sunset from my kitchen window!

A big meaty loaf composed of ground ham, pork, beef. The brown sugar and mustard glaze really makes it special.

Brown sugar, mustard, herbs and spices season this hearty ham loaf. I like to make several loaves to serve to our retirement club. To speed things up, I use my food processor's chopper blade to grind the meat.

My family prefers these to a traditional roasted ham. It seems they gobble them up as soon as I set them out. You can make them ahead and reheat the next day.

This was a favorite recipe of our Mom's for Sunday dinner. We all loved it, and I'm sure you will too. Ground ham is formed into a meatloaf and baked in the oven.

Pineapple, brown sugar and mustard combine to create a tangy sauce for these savory ham and pork appetizers. 'I like to keep a batch on hand for card parties and other occasions,' writes Dorothy Pritchett, Wills Point, Texas.
