Very easy to make. I used 1/2 butter and 1/2 flaxmeal instead of shortening. Whole family loved them. They got soft and crumbly after a few days. No nuts due to allergies, just coconut.

Oh my goodnees, these are good cookies! I tried them with both the walnuts and coconuts like another reviewer suggested and made them for a social event! The only thing I might add to these desserts is a light glaze (vanilla) and some coconut sprinkles on top. Thanks, Karen!

I found these cookies to be quite tasty and they got two thumbs up from both me and my husband! However, I think the cookies are best with both coconut and walnuts, without both the flavor isn't the same!
