I give this 5 stars for flavor and ease of preparation. No, it is not a traditional cheesecake, but if you are looking for a cheesecake-flavored dessert that is easy to prepare, this recipe works great. I use whipping cream instead of Cool Whip to avoid transfats and artificial ingredients. Everybody loves this dessert!

This is a great recipe, You may reduce sugar if you want less carbs. I personally like shortcake crust on the bottom. I get the premade keebler crusts, crumble them up and in a springform pan i line the sides with lady fingers, then crumble the crust, then add the cheesecake mixture. Ta-da!

This is great. I've added a bit of coconut with the pineapple, for a Pina Colada flavor. I've used the strawberry Cool-Whip for yet another flavor. If lady fingers are hard to find, thinly sliced pound cake works well. If one wants a larger dessert, add half again as much of everything (3 bars of cheese, more pineapple, more topping) and this makes a 9x12 pan full.
