I've been making this recipe for years as it is my kids very favorite side dish for ham. It is also very versatile and I have served it chilled in dessert glasses layered with Cool Whip...delish!!

Made this for Easter dinner yesterday. I had never had anything like it and was amazed at how good it was. It was great along side the ham. Will make every year now. Thank you

Great recipe! I modified this: Used 1/2 the butter, 1/2- 3/4 cup sugar (pineapple make this dish VERY sweet), added a pinch of salt, and added only 2 eggs instead of 4. I doubled the recipe and baked it for Thanksgiving and Christmas. It was a huge hit! Thanks for the recipe!

I've been making this recipe for years and it's ALWAYS a hit. It's an excellent pot luck dish as it's as good for dessert (perhaps served with ice cream or whipped cream) as it is for a side dish AND it goes with most anything. This is also an easy dish to double, triple, or whatever your baking dish will hold. Simply adjust the cooking time and cook until golden brown. This is a five star recipe no matter how you choose to serve it!!

Very good. Is great served with ham. Can also be made with blue berries instead of the pineapple.

This was fantastic!!! I used 8 hotdog buns since I was out of bread. I used the exact amount for the rest of the ingredients, except I didn't drain the pineapple and it was just fantastic! Not greasy at all...maybe because I used hotdog buns??? Not sure but this is a keeper:)

Awesome. Made it tonight for Easter. Only used 3/4 cup butter. Loved it. Goes so well with ham. And it was so easy! Will make again and again.

We love this one just the way it is, without modifications. Not that it's a gourmet recipe, but it goes over well and is something that's different.
