First thing my fiance said was "you better get your own spoon, I might miss a bite. This pan is definitely in trouble!" Needless to say we enjoyed the Piggy Pudding. It did turn out a little watery and I think that is from the extra milk. Next time I will only use 2-2 12 cups of milk instead of three in the pudding. Watery or not it made piggys out of us!

I have been making a dessert like this for years. It has so many different names. My family likes it best with a graham cracker crust, and I always just use half the amount of milk than what it calls for on the box of pudding. We use all different kinds of puddings, but our favorite is still chocolate. We also top it with grated chocolate or drizzle it with chocolate syrup instead of using nuts. I really dont't think you can go wrong with this recipe.

This is not a traditional "cake" by any stretch of the imagination, so don't know why it's called one here. What it is is a delicious dessert that we know as "Striped Delight", the name of the recipe a co-worker shared with me some years ago. Since my husband doesn't like nuts in or on anything, I omit them from the crust and topping. That makes a rather thin crust that barely covers the bottom of the 13X9 pan, so I use one and half times the crust ingredients to ensure having enough for a nice crust. The chocolate layer here is a bit sparse, so I use two packages of pudding to the 3 cups of milk called for to make a thick, firm filling. I also find adding an extra 3 oz. package of cream cheese makes a nicer first layer, too. A 12 ounce container of Cool Whip is more than enough for both the filling and topping to suit our taste. We especially enjoy this made with chocolate pudding, but find that lemon makes a refreshing dessert, too. The only "problem" with this yummy dessert is, once we start eating it, it's hard to stop!

I thought this was very good... but the crust lacked something. I have not figured out what yet. But still worth making (and eating too)!

This recipe is awesome, my kids and husband couldn't get enough of it. The crust is nutty and tasty which makes a pudding cake taste even better!

Made before, but this time I lightened it up a bit by usining 1% milk and only 1/2 the amount listed, light cream cheese and light cool whip to cut back on calories. Topped with chocolate sprinkles because my family doesn't like nuts. No one seemed to miss extra fat and calories.
