Original Recipe Yield 1 - 9x13 inch
 

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 3/4 cups apple pie filling

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour one 9x13 baking pan.
  2. In large bowl, combine the sugar, flour, salt, baking soda and cinnamon. Make a well in the center and stir in the oil, eggs and pie filling. Stir until just combined. Spoon batter into the prepared pan.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 45 to 50 minutes or until cake tests done.
