Picnic Bean Casserole
SUBMITTED BY:
Jill Evely
"Smoked bacon adds zest to this bean bake, a recipe I got from my mother. I must confess that lima beans have never been among my favorite foods. But I actually like them in this casserole, and their color brightens up the mixture. -Jill Evely, Wilmore, Kentucky"

Always a favorite! You can also add browned ground beef to the mixture along with some dry mustard for extra flavor. It makes a great main dish too!

So easy to make and tastes great! I baked as directed and then put in the slowcooker to serve with ham. No complaints here!
