Loved it! I used 2% milk as well and thought it turned out fine.

This recipe was excellent. To make it healthier I substituted the cream for 1/2 cup of soy milk. I added artichoke hearts as well!

I tried this recipe for Mother's Day and it was a hit with everyone. No problems with the sauce thickening.Only made one change, added artichoke hearts. Was a very nice addition. So many flavors but not overbearing at all. Definitely a family favorite.

I didn't have sun-dried tomatoes so used fresh instead...my family loved this!

Great Flavors! However I would suggest deseeding the tomato or using a little less. The pesto was a little runny which is one of the reason why the sauce was probably a little runny at the end. I ended up thickening the sauce with cornstarch.

My famioly of 5 loves this! Even my two picky eaters (they pick out the sun dried tomatoes). We use pesto from a jar to speed up the prepe time. One of my favorites

It's a definite keeper - next time I'll put the pine nuts on top as a garnish rather than cooking them in - they got strangely mushy. I used 2% milk instead of cream and cooked the pasta to al dente before mixing it with the sauce, and I had no problems with the sauce thickening.

Good recipe. Used milk instead of heavy cream because it was what I had. Cream would definitely help it out. Rather mild but a good middle of the road dish that my whole family liked.

This pasta is incredible. I've made it several times and we LOVE it! I use a jarred pesto sauce to speed things up and omit the extra 1/2 cup of white wine (seems to make thickening the sauce difficult).

This is phenomenal! Only changes: more fresh tomato and I used spaghetti instead of penne. Wouldn't change anything else!

This is a good recipe, but it's not a great recipe. Considering all the reviews, I was so excited to make it and took the risk of preparing it on Father's Day. It wasn't as impressive as I had hoped. As a few other reviewers said, something is missing.

My husband, mother, sister & I though this recipe was terrible. I'm not sure what the reason was. I followed it 99% except I did not have white wine and I used white zinvandel. I didn't think that would make that much of a difference.

This really is phenomenal! Yes, its a lot of work, especially if you follow the recipe exactly like we did, but it is sooo worth it. It was light and very tasty. We wouldn't change a thing!

I added a few different changes, such as half a lime and only using half as much basil in the pesto, but this was one of the greatest pastas I've ever had.

Made this last night for dinner and it was wonderful. Here is what I altered. I cut the recipe in half and still had extras between the two of us. I used classico premade sundried tomato pesto, a little less than half the jar. The sauce had no problem thickening and I even added a bit of extra wine. I added the pesto and a few whole babby bella mushrooms in just before adding the chicken and marinade. Let cook for about 6mins-8mins and thicken with the cream. I will make extra sauce next time it was delicious. We sopped up what we could with our champagne french bread. Delicious!

I was not hugely impressed with this dish. I added 1 T of both the seasonings and upped the garlic. I seasoned as I went, but it still just seemed to be lacking something in flavor. It never really thickened up (even after adding a handful of parm cheese at the end) until it was ready to be put away. This makes ALOT, there were 5 adults eating this, and we have over half leftover.

This was good but not phenomenal. I was really expecting a big punch of flavor and it just wasn't there. It did make a nice diner and great left overs, but lacked a "wow" factor that I want when there are this many ingredients and that much work involved. If you are a big pesto fan I would absolutley recommend this recipe.

This recipe has a great taste but ended up being less than I expected given the rating. I didn't have trouble with the sauce thickening like some of the other reviews stated. I was able to make a no-meat version. I split the main recipe in half before adding the chicken and the no-meat version actually turned out better than the meat version. Will probably make again.
