These were just okay to me. If you really like the concept though - try the Goat Cheese Pizzas from this site. Now THOSE are fabulous!

Used wheat pita, don't know if that made the difference, but these weren't as good as I was hoping they would be. Probably won't make these again.

Yummy, even using sundried tomato pesto instead of basil pesto.

Very fast, easy and delicious. Best if allowed to get a little crisp in the oven!

These were really really good! I didn't have pitas, so I used tortillas. The flavor was great. I cut them into strips and dipped them in spaghetti sauce. I can't wait to try this recipe like it should be, with pitas.

These were a great hit!! Very easy and delicious. I used Pita rounds, sliced them in half, spread on the pesto and cheese. I used my pizza cutter (round wheel type cutter) to slice into six individual pieces. These were gone in the first 15 minutes of my party!!

What IS pesto … that is the question. These looked delish and the recipe looked easy and I forgot to let myself in on the little secret that I didn’t know what Pesto was. Wolfgang thought it was a cheese – I thought it was some sort of spaghetti sauce. We got to the store and had to ask. Come to find out, pesto is a lovely little mix of olive oil, basic, garlic and pine nuts. You can find this at most grocery stores near the cheese. Looks like Wolfgang and I were close! The recipe was so good. I have made it 3 times in as many weeks. Each time they are devoured and I receive many compliments! My mouth is watering just thinking about them.

These are absolutely delicious and make a wonderful offering for company served on a nice platter or dish. I made them for a “Girl’s Night In” and we devoured them in a very un-lady like manner. I even got up and made more. (They are best warm but someone will always eat the last few cold.) I have served them several times since because they are easy and delicious. I use flour tortillas cut into wedges and find this better because the bread is thinner than the pita so you can taste more of the flavor rather than bread. Reduce the cooking time if using the thinner bread and watch the oven closely - they can burn fast if not watched. Thank you for sharing.

Tasty and simple! I would definitely serve these to guests as appetizers, and it's a bonus that only three ingredients are involved.

I served this with the Cream of Tomato Soup with Pesto recipe from this site. It was a major hit! I found that cutting the pita in half made it easier to separate into two "rounds".
