This was my first atempt at making pumpkin pie or any pie at all for that matter. It was really easy and turned out really good. It was exactly what I was looking for, I will be making this again. Thanks for sharing.

My 3 year old daughter said that we had to have a pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving because "the Care Bears had one at theirs." Makes sense for a 3 year old. No one in my family has ever liked pumpkin pie, but everyone raved about this one. My daugther was so proud of her pumpkin pie. Will make again this Thanksgiving.

This pie is SO good! I made it exactly as the recipe states and it came out fantastically. I left the pie in the oven for about an hour after it stopped cooking and had no problems with cracking.

Yep, the name is correct! This recipe does make the perfect pumpkin pie! I have saved this one and continue to use it every Thanksgiving. I wouldn't change a thing about this recipe!

So good that I will never buy store-made or frozen pumpkin pies again! And very easy! Make sure to heat up the pumpkin in a saucepan prior to using it so it gets the can taste out!

Oh wow!! This is the ONLY pumpkin pie recipe I use! I had never tried pumpkin pie before, so I decided to try this recipe. I used another person's suggestion and used 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice and 2 tsp cinnamon, but that's all I changed. I place a baking sheet in the oven while it's preheating, so by the time I place the pie on the sheet, it's hot enough to cook the bottom of the crust evenly. This is absolutely delicious!!

The batter was so thin and pale I was afraid it wouldn't turn out. But it baked up just fine. Very light and moussy. I found it was a mild flavour and may try more spices next time. That might have also been the pumpkin I used- it was a fresh Crown pumpkin and I'm not sure how suited to pie it is. My five guests, none of whom had eaten pumpkin pie before said they liked it.
