I made these without the Jalapenos and they were awesome. I served them with pizza sauce to dip. And though it is a far stretch from this recipe I also made a veggie version and thought I would share, because the original recipe was a great jumping off point for me. I sauteed mushrooms, onion, green pepper and added some black olives, delish.

I love the combination of jalapeno, provolone and pepperoni. Next time I would definitely opt for the low fat provolone and turkey pepperoni. After baking in the oven for about 15 - 20 mins, one of the sides opened and all this oil just poured out. It sounded like I was frying something in the kitchen! I will definitely make this again in the future just with a few low fat substitutions ;)

I'd love to say I thought these tasted great- but I made three of them and never got a slice!! Sounds like the seal of approval to me. I did serve them with pizza sauce on the side for dipping.

These were tasty. I used mild jalepenos. I may try again with a french bread loaf so the bread is a little crunchier. I brought this to a party and had several requests for the recipe.

These are easy to make, a real crowd pleaser. Shared the recipe with my daughter, and her friends loved it too! Wouldn't change a thing. I did also try it with turkey pepperoni and low fat provolone...excellent low fat version without compromising the quality or taste. A real keeper!

These were a huge hit at Christmas. I made some without the jalapenos since some people in my family don't like a lot of spice, but those were the only ones left on the plate. Next time, i might make 2 smaller loaves to make them more bite size.

We loved this recipe! I did change it up by using turkey pepperoni (for 75% less fat) and hot banana peppers instead of the jalapenas and it still had a wonderful flavor and "kick". This is one of those appetizers that family will come to expect at parties.

Yum! My family loved this recipe, good flavor and easy to make. I used Rhodes frozen dough, it is so close to homemade dough. 5 stars

I absolutely love this recipe. It's easy, spicy, and oh so good. We used to have it in college all the time but I lost the original recipe. Thanks for posting it.
