INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)

  • 1 (7.5 ounce) package Betty Crocker® Suddenly Salad® ranch & bacon pasta salad mix
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cups frozen broccoli flowerettes, thawed and drained
  • 1 (3.25 ounce) package sliced pepperoni, cut in half
  • 1 medium tomato, coarsely chopped
  • 1 (2.5 ounce) jar sliced mushrooms, drained

DIRECTIONS

  1. Empty Pasta mix into large pan 2/3 full of boiling water. Gently boil uncovered 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. Stir together Seasoning mix, cold water and oil in large bowl; set aside.
  3. Drain pasta; rinse with cool water. Shake to drain well. Stir pasta and remaining ingredients into seasoning mixture. Serve immediately, or refrigerate.

FOOTNOTES

  • High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): Increase boil time to 20 minutes.
  • Betty's Tips
  • Rinsing hot cooked pasta with cool water keeps the pasta from cooking further and losing texture and helps it cool for serving immediately.
  • If you buy a larger package of pepperoni, you'll have plenty left to use with another pasta salad mix flavor!
