What a great way to make a fast dinner. I used flour tortillas instead of pita bread, added a bit of tomato sauce with spices (italian seasoning, basil, oregano, garlic powder) and fresh onion, along with the mozzarella and pepperoni. I put oil on the tortillas and put them in the oven for 2 minutes before adding the rest of the ingredients and putting them back in the oven for another 4 minutes. To try to entice my toddlers to eat it, I called it scissor pizza (I used the kitchen scissors to cut it up). They're not huge fans of pizza (bummer for me!), but I liked it., especially since i needed something quick and easy this evening. Thank you for the good idea.

These were great! We've found a new favorite for lunch or an easy dinner. So quick, and the kids could make their own. I think next time I will bake them in the oven for a couple minutes before putting on the toppings because I would like the crust just a little more crispy. Also, I sprayed the bottoms with Pam.

I love pita pizzas & it doesn't get much easier than this. Used sliced green bell pepper & red onions since I didn't have any mushrooms. Made for a perfect lunch! Thanks for the quick recipe!

Perfect for a kids sleepover. I just put out a bunch of toppings & let the kids make their own. I bought 10 packs of pitas at Gordons Food Service(GFS) for around $2.

These are always great for a quick lunch - perfect with a side salad! I pre-bake the pita and I had some left over "Exquisite Pizza Sauce" from this site, so I used that. To lighten it up I used low fat mozarella cheese and turkey pepperoni.
