This is a great idea!! I needed a QUICK meal the last week of school and this worked great! The kids love the "personal" size and they can put whatever they want on it - I love not making dough!! I sprayed each pita on both sides with cooking spray and put them in the oven to crisp before topping...we used mini pepperoni, veggies and lots of cheese. This will definitely be a staple in our house!!

Really great idea! I'm a vegetarian, so I didn't make it pepperoni, but it was a great, easy, and quick dinner and it looked gourmet.

I always keep a bag of wholewheat pita breads in the freezer for emergency dinners that I know the kids will eat. These are great with Kalamata olives...a must for any pizza.

I made these recently for my family and they were a big hit. I brushed the pita bread with "Garlic Butter" (from this site) stuck it in the preheated oven for a couple minutes to crisp it up then took it out spread it with "Exquisite Pizza Sauce" (from this site), cheese and desired toppings (I let everyone choose there own pizza-pita) and popped it bake in the oven until the cheese was melted. So easy and fun. I'll be keeping the fixings for these on hand from now on. Great idea, thanks for posting.

Very easy to make. Kids loved it. I left off the mushrooms because my kids hate them, but this was a great dish to make.

I made these last night, I made a turkey pepperoni one for me and a green pepper one for my girlfriend, and we both absolutely loved it. I added a bit of basil, oregano, and fennel seed to the sauced pitas before adding the toppings, and it added a great flavor. Will definitely make again.

Really easy & made a nice lunch! Made cheese for myself & pepperoni for my husband. I ended up baking for about 10 minutes as we like our pizza more done & wanted the crust to be crispier. Will be making again.

This has become a family favorite on Saturdays for lunch. We use Sahara White Pita bread, Hormel mini sliced pepperoni and Muir Glenn Organic Pizza Sauce. Even hubby who doesn't trust meals from packages loves this. The kids make their own pizzas, and they have fun eating their own creations. Thanks for sharing!

I've been making this for years. They're really easy to make in a toaster oven - I toast the pita lightly so it won't get soggy, take it out and cover it with sauce and toppings, and then bake it until the cheese is bubbly. So good and so easy!!

I used to make these with my friends in high school. Everyone gets their own pizza made their own way. I made this for a playdate and didn't think the kids would like the crispy crust, so I used flat bread instead. The kids loved them. We did not prebake the flat bread.

My husband and I like very different toppings on our pizzas- these were perfect- he said it was his favorite crust ever. So easy, very good and can be lite- i put very little cheese and lots of veggies on mine- he put lots of cheese and pepperoni on his. Versitile and good. I didn't prebake the pita as others- just top and bake- couldn't be easier!
