I thought I would like these more than I did. I don't know if it was the peppermint or what. It just wasn't for me.

Not great. Good, but not my favorite meringue recipe.

These did the job. No way did they make 48, but were satisfying and different.

Great recipe. I have also made this recipe fruity. Instead of adding peppermint in the end, I whipped in single serving sugar-free drink powers (raspberry-lemonade is my favorite). Same recipe, but something tangy for summer!

This was a very simple recipe, I've wanted to try making meringues for a while now, and this was perfect. I followed the directions exactly, and they turned out perfect! I used a plastic pastry bag with the tip cut off to pipe them onto parchment paper. I didn't really pay attention to the time, I just tested the biggest, fattest one, and when that one was done, I knew the rest were, lol. Now I can't stop eating them, they melt in your mouth!

Not sure if I did something wrong, but these never puffed up for me. They were still tasty though.

Yum!! This recipe was great! The meringues turned out perfectly and look so pretty with the peppermint on top. I made these and gave them out in tins as gifts for Christmas.

These were very easy and good! I didn't have candy canes (I know...bizzare at Christmas) so I used 1/4 tsp of peppermint extract instead. They were just minty enough! I piped little drops out of a piping bag, so I got a lot of little meringues. I think next time I'll dip the bottoms in chocolate.

I did a test batch of these because I wasn't sure how they'd turn out. I am not a big, big fan of squishy meringue. These were great! There is so much you can do! This time I played around and made a few vanilla mint, just vanilla, chocolate chipped, different colors, different sizes, and different shapes. Very cool. I am going to figure out something cute for my daughter's class on Friday.

These were excellent! I crushed my candy canes in the mini processor so they were like powder and folded them into the meringue instead of on top, which gave a lovely peppermint taste all through them. I also added a few drop of food coloring to make them pink for valentines day. Will definately make these again, thanks!

The recipe as is, is not that good. I changed it up and thought it was much better the 4th and 5th time around. First I whipped the eggs and sugar up as directed, I folded in about 1/4 cup chopped chocolate chips. Once I had them squeezed onto the pan, I sprinkled crushed peppermint candy over the top. After I altered the recipe a little they were perfect!

These were awesome! I added them to the gift of Christmas treats that I gave to friends and family and they were a great addition to all the other rich treats I made. I altered the recipe slightly by adding peppermint extract. I followed the suggestions and folded the extract in after the egg whites were whipped. I didn't do that the first time and the egg whites fell flat. It doesn't seem like the recipe makes as much as it says, but it really does. I also put the mixture in a baggie, cut the corner, and piped it through onto the wax paper and each one came out beautiful.

Not a huge hit with my family. They were good, but a bit chewy which could have been something I did wrong.
