"I received this treasured recipe from a dear friend years ago. The frosting and topping make these thin brownies eye-catching."

DIRECTIONS
In a microwave or double boiler, melt butter and chocolate; cool slightly. In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs, sugar and vanilla. Add the chocolate mixture and mix well. Combine flour and salt; gradually add to chocolate mixture. Stir in nuts.
Spread into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 16-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.
In a mixing bowl, cream butter, sugar and extract. Add enough cream until frosting reaches spreading consistency. Frost cooled bars. Melt chocolate and butter; drizzle over frosting. Cut into bars.

This recipie was great and easy! I made some to give to my friends, and my brother ended up stealing them all and ate them with his friends! They were awsome! Had a nice, soft, fudgy, brownie taste. The only thing i suggest is that you make "48"-96 servings, according to the recipie. 24 serverings made only a tiny batch, and so i had to triple the ingredients to get enough to barley fit a 9X13" pan. I also used oil instead of butter, and that worked out fine to! its probaly made the brownies even fudgier! but these were soooooo good!!!! the mint made the choclate fudgy like brownies stand out. THEY WERE AWSOME!!! ill be making these agian. 100% sure.
